Subscription Levels for Templar Membership

Subscription levels only represent the recurring monthly Portioning Donation, only to maintain a connection for interactive participation in the Order, and thus are separate and different from Titles of Chivalry which must be earned by merit. All registered members of all Subscription levels have full access to interaction with general membership on the Templar Membership Platform.

Participation in general membership is open to everyone by Subscription, but is subject to approval of Applications, and does not create any entitlement to official titles which must be earned.  The Order reserves the right to cancel any membership if contrary to its Membership Rules, or for any unlawful or unethical misconduct.

All Titles of Chivalry must be earned, by completing the Templar Skills Training program, and by substantial accomplishments of demonstrated earned merit relevant to the intended status, before any Certificates of traditional Letters Patent are issued by the Grand Mastery.

Subscription levels are separate and different from Chivalry levels, because many wish to donate more, and some can only afford to donate less, not proportionate to their chivalric status.  Subscription levels are thus voluntary and flexible, providing equal opportunity based upon meritocracy.

Advantages of Higher Subscription Levels

The voluntary choice of a higher Subscription level does not create any entitlement, and is not a “criteria”, for advancement in the Order.  Nonetheless, some practical realities do make it a “factor”, which can increase and facilitate opportunities for advancement, which still must be based upon earned merit:

First, a higher Subscription amount signals intent, showing dedication, and indicating that one plans to earn merit for advancement, while establishing a track-record of ongoing support for missions;

Second, this unavoidably gets noticed by Templar Officers using the database, causing human curiosity to see the skills and interests in one’s profile, and promoting name recognition of that member;

Third, the larger Donations cover more operating costs, making Officers more available for member outreach, and meaningfully supporting the Order to create more opportunities for advancement.

As a result, a higher Subscription level necessarily provides some inherent advantages, facilitating a member being matched with relevant opportunities for advancement.  Therefore, it is highly recommended, and greatly encouraged, to choose the highest Subscription level one can reliably sustain, which helps the Order provide a better experience for all members.

Recommendations for Choice of Subscription Level

"Supporter" Subscription -- The “Supporter” level Portioning Donation of $22 USD monthly (or prepaid annually) is the minimum contribution, usually only for being recognized with honourary status as a “Champion” of the Temple of Solomon (in the medieval sense of one who advocates and defends an honorable cause as its “champion”).

This level is recommended for interested “cultural Templars” who might describe themselves as “not a joiner”, or are not yet ready to give their Commitment of Service to become a Sergeant or Adjutante.  It is best for those who only wish to support the ongoing restoration of Templar Chivalry empowering humanity, while becoming an expert in all Templar knowledge, as a "Friend of the Order".

Upon confirmation of completing the "Service Level" (Basic Preparation) of the Templar Skills Training program, subscribing Supporters can receive a traditional Letters Patent recognizing them as a “Champion of the Temple of Solomon”.

"Defender" Subscription -- The “Defender” level Portioning Donation of $33 USD monthly (or prepaid annually) is encouraged as part of demonstrating qualifications and dedication to be established as a “Sergeant” (men) or “Adjutante” (women) of the Temple of Solomon.

This level is recommended for new members who intend to pledge their Commitment of Service to become a Sergeant or Adjutante in Chivalry, assisting the more experienced Knights and Dames.  It is best for those who desire to qualify for active service as a distinct class of skilled professionals, directly supporting the missions of the Order, while becoming an expert in all Templar knowledge.

Upon confirmation of completing the "Service Level" of the Templar Skills Training program, subscribing Defenders can receive Induction by pledging their Commitment of Service, legalized by a traditional Letters Patent establishing them as a “Sergeant (Adjutante) of the Temple of Solomon” in Chivalry.

"Warrior" Subscription - The “Warrior” level Portioning Donation of $55 USD monthly (or prepaid annually) is encouraged as part of demonstrating qualifications and dedication for later earning elevation to “Knight” (men) or “Dame” (women) of the Temple of Solomon, which can only be earned by merit of active service.

This level is recommended for members wanting to signal confidence in their capabilities to earn merit for advancement, while supporting the Order to create more opportunities for advancement.  It is best for those who desire to qualify for future leadership roles as accomplished professionals, effectively advancing the missions of the Order, while becoming an expert in all Templar knowledge.

Upon confirmation of completing the "Advanced Level" of the Templar Skills Training program, and substantial accomplishments of demonstrated earned merit, subscribing Warriors can receive Investiture by professing the Vow of Chivalry, legalized by a traditional Letters Patent elevating them to a “Knight (Dame) of the Temple of Solomon” in Nobility peerage.

"Patron" Subscription -- The “Patron” level Portioning Donation of $77 USD monthly (or prepaid annually) is encouraged as part of demonstrating enhanced qualifications and stronger dedication to be recognized as a “Guardian” of the Temple of Solomon, to be established as a traditional “Donat of Devotion”, or for later earning elevation to "Knight" or "Dame" or higher Nobility peerage, which can only be earned by merit of active service.

This level is recommended for new members whom (by protocol) it may be inappropriate to call a “Sergeant” or “Adjutante” prior to earning elevation to higher Chivalry or Nobility, allowing to join directly as a “Guardian”.  This is best for those who:  (1) are already a nobiliary Knight or Dame of another genuine historical Order of Chivalry, but have not yet contributed benefits to the Templar Order, (2) already hold Nobility status in a genuine recognized Royal House, or (3) intend to make major "endowment level" or "grant" type contributions to earn “Donat of Devotion” status.

This is highly recommended for members wanting to best signal their determination to earn merit for elevation to Knight or Dame, while strongly supporting the Order to create more opportunities to earn elevation.

This is also recommended for current Templar Knights or Dames, who may wish to be recognized for a stronger level of service with additional honourary status as a “Guardian”, or who plan to soon demonstrate further earned merit to be elevated to higher levels of legalized Nobility peerage.

Upon confirmation of completing the Templar Skills Training program, subscribing Patrons can receive a Letters Patent recognizing them as a "Guardian".  Upon substantial accomplishments or contributions of demonstrated earned merit, subscribing Patrons can receive a traditional Letters Patent elevating them to a “Knight (Dame) of the Temple of Solomon” or higher levels of legalized Nobility peerage, or establishing them as a “Donat of Devotion” of the Order.
